1992 Rollie Fingers and Tom Seaver inducted into the Hall of Fame – Fingers: 341 saves, 2.90 ERA, Cy Young and MVP in 1981 – Seaver: 311 wins, 2.86 ERA, 3 time Cy Young winner
1991 Rangers pitcher Mike Jeffcoat gets an RBI – 1st AL pitcher to drive in a run since DH rule in 1973 – 1st AL pitcher to get a hit since 10/2/1974
1990 NYY rookie Kevin Maas hits his 10th HR in his 72nd at bat – fastest ever to hit 10 HRs
1987 Reds Eric Davis hits his 30th HR – becomes the 7th player in MLB history to have 30 HRs and 30 steals in a season
